Had the pleasure of staying at Club Wyndham recently for a short break with family. We arrived very late in the evening after reception hours and I was worried we’d have trouble checking in. We were greeted by the friendly night manager and shown to our room quickly, hassle free. My 3 kids and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The resort is beautiful and charming and I especially loved reading about its history. The grounds are well maintained and peaceful and had everything needed to keep the kids busy. They especially loved the heated swimming pool and the pedal boats. Staff are lovely and always greeted you with a smile. It was our first time visiting Ballarat but hardly left the resort as we just loved it so much.

Wow, still has the 'old' feel but the updated furniture/window dressings/carpet make such a difference.
Staff were amazingly helpful and no matter how annoying I was (without meaning to be) they pleasantly tolerated me which I'm so grateful for.
Great place for my 4 kids aged 7 - 12 to explore, find activities or just chill out in our apartment.

I have been an owner of a modest amount of shares with Wyndham Resorts since early 2001. Over the years, my family and I have had several stays at the Ballarat resort. This one is up on the top of my favourites. I love the way they have combined history, but have still managed to provide all the conveniences of our modern world. The gardens are beautiful. The historic indoor pool is so nice too!
Good location for travel around the region and locally. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and spacious. If you have any concern about climbing stairs make sure your booking is ground floor.
What a gem of a hotel. We were in Ballarat for a music festival along with 20,000 others. The hotel were aware of why we were here and didn’t judge, in fact they were so helpful and welcoming - made us feel very at home. We had a beautiful, spacious room, an easy check in and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, we’ll be back.
First thought...Ballarat? Why would anyone go there? After spending 6 days there I wish I had longer....the resort has a lot of activities and the grounds are a credit to the groundskeeper. This is country charm and hospitality at its best. History in Ballarat, Activites at resort and day trips to great Ocean road and Daylesford all combine. Thanks guys, cant wait to book again.
